How to Find Your IP on a Snom Phone

Snom phones are popularly utilized in professional settings for their reliability in VoIP communication. If you need to identify the IP address of your Snom phone for network configurations, troubleshooting, or other reasons, follow these steps:

1. Wake the Phone Up: If your Snom phone's screen is idle, activate it by pressing any key or lifting the handset momentarily.

2. Access the Main Menu: On the phone's display, look for a button labeled "Menu" or an icon representing the main settings. Press this button.

3. Navigate to Information: Once inside the menu, use the arrow keys to navigate to an option titled “Information” or a similar descriptor, depending on the specific Snom model.

4. Open IP Address Section: Inside the "Information" submenu, you should find an option labeled "IP Adr." or "Network Info". Select it.

5. View the IP: Here, the phone will display its IP address, generally in the format: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.

6. Record the IP: For configuration or support purposes, note down the IP or take a photo for reference.

Additional Points:

If you see 0.0.0.0 as the IP, it suggests the phone isn’t connected to your network. Ensure the Ethernet cable is properly attached.

For Snom phones on local networks, IPs might often start with 192.168.xxx.xxx or 10.xxx.xxx.xxx.
