How to Find Your IP on a Yealink Phone
Yealink phones, widely used for VoIP services, often require users to know their IP address for setup, troubleshooting, or configuration purposes. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
1. Wake the Phone: If the phone is in sleep mode, simply pick up the handset or press any button to wake the display.
2. Access the Menu: On the main screen, you'll typically see a "Menu" or "Settings" option. Navigate using the arrow keys and select it.
3. Navigate to Status: Within the menu, look for an option labeled “Status” or something similar, depending on your Yealink model. This is usually among the top options.
4. View IP Address: Once in the “Status” menu, you will find various details about the phone. Among these is the IP address, often labeled as "IPv4" or just "IP". It usually appears in the format: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx.
5. Make Note of the IP: Jot down or take a picture of the IP if you need it for further configuration.
Tips:
If the IP shows as 0.0.0.0, the phone may not be connected to the network. Check the Ethernet connection.
For phones connected to a local network, the IP will likely start with 192.168.xxx.xxx or 10.xxx.xxx.xxx.
